Bradenton Roofing Backed by a Local Office and Decades of Suncoast Experience
R.I.G. Roofing is a faith-based, family-owned roofing contractor with a satellite office in Bradenton, Florida, where our Suncoast Division serves homeowners and businesses across Manatee County. We repair and replace shingle, tile, metal and flat roofs, provide emergency dry-in after storms, offer a Roof Maintenance Program and give free roof assessments. Our company has been roofing Florida homes since 2005, and every replacement is backed by a 10 to 20 year workmanship warranty from a licensed, insured team.
Our roots in Bradenton run deeper than our own office. In 2024 R.I.G. Roofing acquired Len's Roofing, a respected local company founded by Lenworth and April Dacas that had served the Suncoast since 1993. Our goal was simple: keep the craftsmanship and care Bradenton families knew from Len's, and add the resources of a larger Central Florida roofing company behind it.
Today our Suncoast Division is led by Branch Manager Nathan Tanksley, who oversees work in Bradenton, Sarasota and Charlotte County. That means a nearby manager who knows local building rules, local suppliers and the way Gulf weather treats a roof.

We recently used R.I.G. Roofing for a project on our family home at Lake Mirror in Winter Haven after dealing with a frustrating roof leak. From the very beginning, their coordination was flawless. I am so pleased with RIG ROOFING! I didn't have any problems at all from start to finish. Emory McTeer was the person I met with to get the project started. RIG Roofing and Construction, solved my flat carport roof issues. Emory came out and thoroughly went over my whole roof and took lots of pictures. He listened to what I had to say and offered two options. The crew arrived early, managed by Isai and supervised by Aaron. Let me tell you they worked. This was a complex job and watching them was like watching a well organized group. They took down the flat part, built a temporary wall to hold the exterior structure up. They replaced the structural beam, by building it in place. Attached the cross beams and replaced the plywood. Then added the ISO board to create a slight tilt, so the water would flow off the roof. Then covered it with TPO sheeting. All this in one day and it poured for an hour or so. I was impressed. Thank you so much for the work well done. - Hide

I cannot say enough great things about Aaron Chandler and RIG Roofing! Aaron's communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. He was responsive at all hours of the day and understood how important our timeline was. We needed a complete reroof finished in time to satisfy insurance requirements, bind coverage, and keep our real estate closing on schedule with no delays.
RIG Roofing delivered! The entire reroof was completed in just one day, and I was extremely impressed with the quality, efficiency, and professionalism of the crew. Even the neighbors commented on how amazed they were with the process and quality of the work.
What impressed me just as much was the attention to detail. The landscaping and exterior of the home were kept in meticulous condition throughout the project, everything was cleaned up beautifully, and they even left spare shingles for the homeowners should they ever need them in the future.

Roofing Considerations for Bradenton and Manatee County
Older Bradenton Homes Need a Careful Hand
Bradenton has some of the most interesting housing on the Gulf Coast. Wares Creek is known for its 1920s and 1930s cottages, the Village of the Arts district holds more than 275 properties including bungalows and Florida Cracker homes from the same era, and Riverview Boulevard runs past stone houses from the 1930s and 1940s along the Manatee River. Older homes like these often have original plank decking, unusual roof lines and past repairs layered on top of each other, so a reroof starts with a careful look at what is under the shingles.
Farther west and south, Palma Sola has a mix of 1970s ranch homes and midcentury designs, and newer subdivisions toward Lakewood Ranch and along State Road 70 were built with modern trusses, concrete tile and dimensional shingles. Whatever the age of the house, we explain what we find before we recommend anything.
Gulf Storms and Salt Air
Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key on October 9, 2024 as a Category 3 storm, just over the county line in Sarasota County, and many Manatee County roofs took wind damage that was not obvious from the ground. Two weeks earlier, Hurricane Helene had already pushed surge into coastal communities around Tampa Bay. On top of hurricanes, Bradenton's salt air corrodes fasteners, drip edge and flashing faster than it would inland, and afternoon summer storms test every seal on the roof.
For homes west of US-41 and near the water, we pay close attention to corrosion-resistant fasteners and flashing during repairs and replacements, and we recommend regular inspections through our Roof Maintenance Program.
Bradenton Permits: City or County
If your home is inside Bradenton city limits, the City of Bradenton's Building and Permitting Division issues the reroof permit and performs inspections. Homes in unincorporated Manatee County, which covers much of the area around the city, are permitted through Manatee County's Building and Development Services. Our team checks which office covers your address, handles the paperwork and schedules each inspection.
Every Roof Type, One Local Team
Coastal Bradenton tends to have more tile and metal than inland Florida, but you will find every kind of roof here, and we install and repair all of them:
-
Concrete and clay tile on Spanish-style homes in Palma Sola and many newer communities. Tile roofing
-
Metal roofing on cottages, beach-style homes and properties where owners want maximum wind performance. Metal roofing
-
Architectural shingles on a large share of Bradenton homes, offering a dependable, budget-friendly replacement. Shingle roofing
-
TPO and PVC on low-slope sections, condo buildings and commercial properties. TPO and PVC
Is It Time for a Repair or a New Roof?
One damaged area on a roof that is otherwise sound usually calls for a targeted roof repair. Cracked tiles across several slopes, worn underlayment beneath tile, or a shingle roof near the end of its life usually means a roof replacement is the better value. A free roof assessment from our Bradenton team will tell you which one fits.

Bradenton Roofing Questions Answered
R.I.G. Roofing acquired Len's Roofing in 2024. Len's had served the Bradenton and Sarasota area since 1993, and our Suncoast Division continues that local service with the added support of R.I.G. Roofing's larger team.
We operate a satellite office in Bradenton as the base of our Suncoast Division, led by Branch Manager Nathan Tanksley. Call (863) 294-4477 to schedule an assessment with the local team.
Tile, metal and shingle all price differently, and so do roof size, slope and decking condition. Typical architectural shingle replacements fall around $8,000 to $18,000, while many tile and metal roofs land between $10,000 and $30,000. We give you a free written estimate after we inspect the roof, and financing is available to qualified homeowners.
That depends on where the house sits. Addresses inside Bradenton city limits go through the city's Building and Permitting Division, while the many neighborhoods outside the city, such as parts of West Bradenton and Bayshore Gardens, go through Manatee County. Our Suncoast office sorts that out on day one and files the paperwork, so you never have to stand in a permit line.
Yes. Older Bradenton homes often have original wood decking and earlier repairs that need careful attention. We inspect first, explain what we find, and recommend a repair or replacement that respects the character of the house.
It does. Salt air speeds up corrosion of fasteners, flashing and metal trim, especially close to the Manatee River and the Gulf. We use corrosion-resistant components and recommend periodic inspections for coastal homes.
Stay safe, stay off the roof and call (863) 294-4477 . Our Emergency Dry In service can protect the home from further water damage, and we can photograph and document the damage if you choose to involve your insurer.
