A Poinciana Roofer You Can Trust
R.I.G. Roofing is a faith-based, family-owned roofing contractor that has served Central Florida since 2005, and our crews work in Poinciana every week from our home office and showroom in Winter Haven, just across Polk County. We repair and replace shingle, metal, tile, and TPO or PVC flat roofs, most residential replacements are finished in one day, and every new roof is backed by a 10 to 20 year workmanship warranty.
Poinciana is one of the largest planned communities in Central Florida. Its first homes went up around the Poinciana Golf and Racquet Club in 1973, and it is organized into villages under the Association of Poinciana Villages: Villages 1, 2, 5 and 9 are in Osceola County, and Villages 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 are in Polk County. Because so many homes were built in the same few decades, whole streets tend to need roofs at about the same time.
Owners James and Bridget Curtis built the company on a simple promise: tell homeowners the truth about their roof, even when the truth is a small repair instead of a big sale. That is still how we work today.

We had a big problem in our master bathroom with the roof leaking. Rig sent out Elijah who inspected our roof, had an idea of what was wrong but wanted to do a water test. The next day he came out with his supervisor and they what they needed to do. I asked for worst case scenario pricing and what they really thought it would take (prepare for the worst, hope for the best). They provided their quote and was out in a few days. Well the repair turned out to be the best case. In fact, it came out less expensive then the best case quote.
Elijah and everyone else I spoke with was amazing with their communications, they came out when they said their would, and extremely clean.
When time comes from the roof replacement I am 100% going back to Rig Roofing based on this experience.

Absolute 5-star experience from start to finish!
We recently used R.I.G. Roofing for a project on our family home at Lake Mirror in Winter Haven after dealing with a frustrating roof leak. From the very beginning, their coordination was flawless. Their website was incredibly easy to navigate, and after filling out the contact form, we received an immediate response. Wow!The entire process was completely seamless. Every single step, from the initial consultation to the inspection with a higher-level manager, receiving the estimate, the actual roof work, and the follow-up care, was handled with total professionalism. It is clear that every department at R.I.G. works hand-in-hand.

I am so pleased with RIG ROOFING! I didn't have any problems at all from start to finish. Emory McTeer was the person I met with to get the project started. Angelina kept me informed about everything during the whole process. Aaron who supervised the job was very helpful and professional. The crew was very nice. Everyone involved exceeded my expectations! - Hide

RIG Roofing and Construction, solved my flat carport roof issues. Emory came out and thoroughly went over my whole roof and took lots of pictures. He listened to what I had to say and offered two options. The crew arrived early, managed by Isai and supervised by Aaron. Let me tell you they worked. This was a complex job and watching them was like watching a well organized group. They took down the flat part, built a temporary wall to hold the exterior structure up. They replaced the structural beam, by building it in place. Attached the cross beams and replaced the plywood. Then added the ISO board to create a slight tilt, so the water would flow off the roof. Then covered it with TPO sheeting. All this in one day and it poured for an hour or so. I was impressed. Thank you so much for the work well done. - Hide
A Poinciana Roofing Guide for Homeowners
Same-Age Neighborhoods, Same Roof Problems
When a neighborhood is built all at once, its roofs tend to wear out all at once too. In Poinciana we see the same patterns house after house: original shingles losing granules, worn pipe boots, aging flashing and attic ventilation that was never quite enough. Deed restrictions also apply, so we document material and color choices for your village association.
Choosing a Roof for Your Poinciana Home
-
Architectural shingles cover most homes here and are usually the lowest upfront cost.
-
Metal roofing is a long-term choice where the association allows it.
-
Concrete tile shows up on some newer homes.
-
Flat lanai roofs are rebuilt in TPO or PVC.
What Recent Storms Have Taught Us
Hurricane Ian brought heavy rain and flooding across Osceola and Polk counties in September 2022, and Hurricane Milton crossed the area in October 2024. After storms like these we look for missing or lifted shingles, loose ridge caps, failed pipe boots and leaks at flashing.
Poinciana Roof Permits
Poinciana is unincorporated, so the permit office depends on your village: homes in Villages 1, 2, 5 and 9 go through Osceola County, and homes in Villages 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 go through the Polk County Building Division. We confirm it from your address, pull the permit, and schedule the inspections for every roof replacement we do.
Communities Near Poinciana
Our crews also serve Poinciana Place, Champions Gate, Haines City, Davenport and the rest of Osceola County. Not sure where to start? Book a free roof assessment.
